Brisa Family Dental

A bilingual website concept for a family dental practice: built so a parent can book the whole family, or a patient in pain can call, in a few taps.

Brisa is a fictional practice. We built this concept to show how we design for dentists.

Brisa concept site: homepage hero with a dentist and a patient in the dental chair and the headline 'Family dentist in Miami, open Saturdays'
Brisa concept site on a phone: the homepage hero with the call, book and directions bar at the bottom

The brief we set ourselves

People choose a dentist in a few seconds, often on a phone, and the first questions are always the same: do you take my insurance, can you see me soon, and will my kids be OK here. The site had to:

  • look like a dental practice at first glance, with real treatment rooms and dentists in scrubs
  • answer the insurance question before anyone has to call
  • give a patient in pain a phone number they can tap in one second
  • work for families who speak English, Spanish or both
  • rank for "family dentist + city" and for each treatment

What we built

  • Insurance page headed 'Do you take my plan?' with the plan search open and a list of example insurers

    Insurance checker

Type your plan and see right away if it's on the list, and what to do if it isn't.

  • Emergency dentist page: a large tap-to-call phone card, an 'Open now' status and a red box listing when to call 911 or go to the ER

    Same-day emergency page

A tap-to-call card, live "open now" status and a clear box that says when to go to the ER instead.

  • Services menu open, with treatments grouped under General, Cosmetic, Orthodontics and Kids beside a same-day visits card

    Treatments in one menu

General, cosmetic, orthodontics and kids' care, each with its own page.

  • Teeth whitening page: a shade guide and a before and after slider of a smile, labelled 'Example, illustrative image'

    Whitening before and after

A drag slider, labeled as an illustration so nothing pretends to be a real patient.

  • Spanish homepage hero: 'Dentista en Miami, abierto los sábados'

    English and Spanish

A language switch on every page, and 8 Spanish pages written for Spanish-speaking families: the home page, booking, emergencies, insurance and four treatments.

  • Emergency page on a phone, with the call, book and directions bar fixed at the bottom of the screen

    Mobile first

A call, book and directions bar always within thumb reach.

Built to be found

  • One keyword per page, mapped before design ("family dentist miami", "emergency dentist miami", "dental implants miami", "dentista de emergencia en miami"…)
  • Structured data where it fits: Dentist, MedicalProcedure for each treatment, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList and Article
  • English ↔ Spanish hreflang pairs on the 8 pages that have both versions
  • Titles, descriptions and internal links checked automatically on every build
